Dubai Expo 20220 site will be reopened as Expo City Dubai on the 1st of October 2022. It will be a “city of the future” with housing, businesses, and leisure activities. It will be human-centric city, accessible only by pedestrians, no cars or heavy vehicles, and it will continue the sustainable bath of Expo 2020.
Around 80% of the original infrastructure and buildings will remain, including the UAE pavilion and Al-Wasl Dome, also Finland’s pavilion will stay at the area and will be transformed to business hub for Scandinavian companies.
Expo City will house "start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises", as well as big corporates such as Siemens and DP World.
